Personal Injury Attorneys Proudly Serving the South Chicago Suburb of Burbank

The city of Burbank located at the southwest edge of Chicago. According to the US Census Bureau, it's population was 28,925 in 2010. For travelers it's conveniently located two miles south of Midway Airport.

In the 1920s, when the area that currently comprises the city was still part of Lyons Township, it became a popular location for developers and real estate investors, who purchased subdivisions and built farmland.

But poor drainage issues and the Great Depression limited development considerably in the area until the 1950s, when it became part of Stickney Township.

Even though it was still unincorporated at this time, the area experienced a great deal of development, which led to a population boom.

In 1970, as part of an attempt to resist annexation into Chicago, Burbank was incorporated and named after Luther Bank Elementary School, an institution which had served the community for over a decade.

Burbank has served as Illinois' 3rd Congressional District since 1983.
