Christopher Panio received his undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a minor in International Business from the University of Colorado in 2002. He subsequently attended the John Marshall Law School in Chicago where he earned Dean's List honors. During his time at John Marshall, he clerked at Lavin & Nisivaco, for Terrance J. Lavin, now a judge on the Illinois First District Appellate Court, Fifth Division.

After graduating from law school, Christopher continued working in the personal injury field, handling complex injury cases on behalf of a prestigious Chicago law firm. With significant trial experience under his belt, Christopher decided to start his own law firm, Panio Law Offices, in 2012.

Panio Law Office's mission was set: Provide professional representation you'd expect from a large law firm but with the one-on-one care and attention that many large firms can't provide. As a result, Panio Law Offices has grown rapidly to become one of Chicago's leading personal injury firms representing the severely injured across the Chicagoland area.

Comprehensive Legal Experience

In addition to his law practice, Christopher is a court-appointed arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program, where he evaluates and renders decisions on a wide variety of personal injury and property damage cases filed in Cook County. He also serves as Chairman of the Civil Law Committee of the South Suburban Bar Association, a board member of the Lawyer Referral, Pro Bono, and Advertising Committee of the South Suburban Bar Association, and an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.

Mr. Panio is licensed to practice throughout the State of Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Recognition for Excellence in Practice

Since 2015, the Law Bulletin Publishing Company has named Christopher Panio an Emerging Lawyer, a prestigious distinction given to the top 2% of all Illinois lawyers who are 40 years old or younger and have proven themselves professional, ethical and experienced at an early point in their legal careers. Emerging Lawyers are selected by their peers and approved by the Leading Lawyers Advisory Board. Membership nomination is limited to only the top Illinois lawyers, and the honor is part of the prestigious Leading Lawyers distinction, a division of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company.
